Rooftop Stories: Reimagining sustainable Urban Living

A workshop was organised within the temporary spatial structure “Agora” that was located on the rooftop of the National State Gallery’s SPEL building. The workshop was open to the public and invited residents to reimagine the space as an urban garden while creatively expressing themselves on the themes of sustainability, social innovation, and artistic innovation.

The modular and mobile structure of ‘Agora’ was transformed into a temporary green oasis through a participatory planting activity. This allowed for the cultivation of new conversations and the exploration of fertile opportunities on our roofscape.

This event is one of the activities organized by Urban Gorillas as part of the ECRN European Creative Rooftop Network project. The project is co-funded by the Creative Europe Funding Program and the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
