An inspiring and productive day was organised this week in Famagusta!
On Sunday, November 6th 2022, we flew again our kites in Famagusta during the concluding event of our ‘Peace Lab’ project which was funded by the Japan World Exposition 1970 Commemorative Fund (JEC).
The event took place in Famagusta with the support of the UNFICYP and the artist Nurtane Karagil.
In the morning we had presentations of the ongoing projects and in the afternoon we flew kites along the city’s fortification as a message of peace and unification within the island.
The event concluded with a workshop-discussion, an activity that is part of the MAPS project, at the square of St Nicolas in Famagusta/Namik Kemal Square.
