Erasmus+ project: ‘Creative placemaking – the path to active European Citizenship’

The Urban Gorillas team is in Finland within the framework of the Erasmus project ‘Creative placemaking – the path to active European Citizenship’. With us is the local Finnish partner Suomen Kulttuuriperintökasvatusken Seura (Finish Association of Cultural Heritage) and the coordinating team is KA-MATRIX from Croatia.

Together we are planning to build a common participatory methodology for transforming public spaces in our respective countries. In Cyprus we will be focusing on the schoolyard of the 3rd Primary School of Palouriotissa. The project will be implemented in collaboration with local stakeholders, the school’s educator and museologist Despo Pasia, Constantina Chrysostomou from Estel (Barcelona) and Popi Iacovou from the University of Cyprus.
