Nafsika Hadjichristou

Documentary Filmmaker and Photographer

Nafsika Hadjichristou is a documentary filmmaker and photographer from Nicosia, Cyprus. She graduated from the University of York with a Film and Television BSc in 2020, and she has worked in over 15 productions. She was a youth juror for Sheffield Doc/Fest 2020-21, and for Giornate degli Autori in the Venice Film Festival in 2017, and attended the Kino-Guarimba Film Residency in Italy in 2019. Her graduation film Night Lives received the Audience Award in Non-Fiction at Luma Film Festival in 2020, and Best Cinematography (National Competition) at the ISFFC in 2021. She has a big passion for urban activism and has been collaborating with Urban Gorillas since 2014. She is currently working on the short films of the A-Place project.
