Konstantina Chrysostomou is a social architect, founding member of the Spain based cooperative *estel (social strategies for the public realm). She has the belief that a strong culture of community can influence the rhetoric of memory and be used to “heal” the urban space. She cooperates with citizens and local administrations in the improvement of their municipalities, focusing on the design, management, and programming of public spaces. She likes thinking creative methodologies that make people talk to each other arriving in a knowledge dialog through actions that empower civic engagement and inspire the democratization of the urban space.
